How do I sign up to fundraise?

Select an event location first. Then, follow the prompts to either form a team, join a team, or fundraise as an individual. Download this document for step by step instructions.

How much does it cost to attend the Walkathon?

Admission to Walkathon is FREE. However, fundraising is encouraged.

Do I have to register to attend?

Registration is not required, however it is encouraged as it provides event planners with a more accurate estimate of expected attendance.

Do I have to bring a dog?

No, however well-behaved dogs on non-retractable leashes are welcome.

 Is the 3K walk route stroller and/or wheelchair friendly?

Yes. The walk route is paved, however most Walkathons take place at parks and the event space is grass so strollers/wheelchairs may be difficult to navigate.

What happens if it rains?

The Walkathon will take place rain or shine. There is no make-up date.

Is there water along the walk route?

Yes. There are water stations along the route and also available in the main event space.

Is there food at the event?

Yes. Food trucks and/or vendors sell food at Walkathons. Each event is different so selection may vary. 

Will there be an ATM at the event?

No. Cash, check, credit and debit cards are acceptable forms of payment should you wish to make purchases and/or donations at the event.

Can I pick up fundraising incentive items at the Walkathon?

Yes. Fundraisers can pick up incentive items at Walkathon. Additionally, fundraisers can turn in funds and/or make donations at Walkathon in order to earn incentive items.

What time should I arrive?

Most Walkathons begin at 9 am. See event-specific schedule for details.

Is handicapped parking available?

Handicapped parking is provided by most parks and is available on a first come, first served basis.

How much is parking?

A $5 parking donation is appreciated, but not required.
