This year, I've been fortunate to see how a dog, named by a friend here in Tampa, has been able to impact the life of another dear friend, a veteran who has struggled with mental health issues.  They don't know each other, and will probably never meet, but that synergy to me is the essence of SEGD.  When you contribute, you can be sure that, although you will never know just who was helped by your donation, you can be positive that your contribution will go towards improving and sustaining independence and meaning for the recipient of your generosity.  Whether it is providing support to those who can't see, or to those who have seen too much, your contribution will make a difference in someone's life.
