Welcome to the RSA Steps for Session Challenge
RSA Steps for Session is a 60-day challenge where Ron Pierce will walk the distance of Tampa to Tallahassee and back during Legislative Session, a total of 556 miles!
Proceeds from the challenge will benefit Southeastern Guide Dogs. This local, non-profit organization breeds, raises, and trains guide dogs for people with vision loss, veterans with disabilities, and children who have lost a parent in the military. Southeastern Guide Dogs relies 100% on private donations, receives no government funding, and doesn't charge for their dogs or services.
The challenge will begin on March 2nd, the first day of the Legislative Session, and Ron will aim to complete the challenge before the Legislature adjourns sine die. The 556 miles extends from the RSA Tampa office to the Tallahassee office and will be tracked using Ron's smartwatch. Ron will of course be joined by his new dog, Sammi the RSA Pup!
Your donations are graciously accepted. Southeastern Guide Dogs is an incredible organization that gives people independence, confidence, and a new lease of life.
