Shannon Family Virtual Walk-a-thon for Southeastern Guide Dogs

Hey family and friends, Brooklyn here! As some of you know, I was recently approved for a guide dog from Southeastern Guide Dogs! We feel that this will greatly improve my independence, safety and confidence as we go about our busy lives! When I learned that Southeastern Guide Dogs relies 100% on private donations, receives no government funding, and doesn't charge for their dogs or services, I decided to participate in their biggest fundraiser of the year, the Walkathon. If we had to pay for a guide dog, we would never be able to afford one, so this is a small way we can give back. Because of generous donors, blind and visually impaired people like myself have the opportunity to get a superhero! Please consider making a tax deductible donation so that they can continue to change lives! Thank you so much!
A little info about Southeastern Guide Dogs:
Did you know that Southeastern Guide Dogs breeds, raises, and trains some of the finest guide dogs, service dogs, and skilled companion dogs in the world? The puppies are adorable, but to witness these amazing dogs in training is nothing short of miraculous. Thanks to the intelligence and fine training of these dogs, people with vision loss, veterans with disabilities, and children with significant challenges find the freedom, confidence, and independence they need.
I've set an ambitious Walkathon fundraising goal (I'd love to raise $5,000 by May 1st) and am excited to contribute to the life changing mission of Southeastern Guide Dogs.
