Make a Difference for the Dogs - Support my Walkathon

Southeastern Guide Dogs gives the gift of freedom and hope to people with vision loss, veterans with disabilities, and children with significant challenges. They breed, raise, and train the finest guide dogs, service dogs, and skilled companion dogs in the world! The puppies are adorable, but to witness these amazing dogs at work is extraordinary.
This is what your past donations have done for others:
My 1st dog, Rigney, had 7 future Superheros in Jan this year. All are now training with puppy raisers all over the southeast.
My 2nd pup, McKee, is a working guide dog and was here visiting me this past weekend along with the former nurse who he guides. MAC has restored her independence and confidence.
My 3rd dog, Edison, is 1/2 way through his “college” level training at the Southeastern campus in FL.
My 4th and current dog, Lucy, is working through some allergy issues but getting better by the day.
Southeastern initiated a new program this year, Kids Companion dogs. Designed to support children who have had a traumatic event in their life…like the loss of a parent, or severe medical issues. These “best friends” are helping to heal a lot of hearts and filling a special need.
As a Puppy Raiser I pay all of Lucy’s costs (except medical) for the 16 mos. I will have her. EVERY DOLLAR you donate goes 100% to supporting all the active “working” guide dogs this wonderful organization breeds, trains, and places AT NO COST TO THE RECIPIENT. And SEGD receives NO FEDERAL OR STATE funding. Everything is paid for by your generous donations.
And because Southeastern Guide Dogs relies on donations and doesn't charge for their dogs or services, fundraisers are critical to their success. That’s why I’m supporting their biggest fundraiser of the year—Walkathon! I've set an ambitious fundraising goal, and I need your help. Please join me as we transform lives by supporting Southeastern Guide Dogs.
Give today—it’s for the dogs!
