Welcome to My Personal Page
You have made it to our page so please consider a donation to this truly worthy organization. The photo shows Paul and I turning Skippy in after raising her for 15 months. That was a difficult day and there were lots of tears with the smiles! You have probably met many of the guide dog puppies in training that Paul and I have had. You know It is truly our passion. You also know the work we put into their exposure and puppy training as well as the pain we feel when we give them back to Southeastern Guide Dogs.
This year Paul and I have decided to participate in our biggest fundraiser of the year, the Walkathon. We've set an ambitious fundraising goal and are excited to contribute to the life changing mission of Southeastern Guide Dogs. If we can meet this goal, the funds will be dedicated to sponsor a blind student to live on campus for 21 days to learn how to navigate with a guide dog.
Your donations are important because Southeastern Guide Dogs relies 100% on private donations, receives no government funding, and doesn't charge for their dogs or services.
Southeastern Guide Dogs breeds, raises, and trains some of the finest guide dogs, service dogs, and skilled companion dogs in the world. The puppies are adorable, but to witness these amazing dogs at work is nothing short of miraculous. Thanks to the intelligence and fine training of these dogs, people with vision loss, veterans with disabilities, and children with significant challenges find the freedom, confidence, and independence they need.
