Over the past few months, we discovered that my dad's guide dog, Buddy, had pancreatic cancer. He experienced multiple seizures, tests, and surgeries as a result. However, he would not still be here if it were not for the support of the school and their willingness to assist with his emergency care. That is why I am fundraising this year as a thank you to Southeastern Guide Dogs for saving Buddy's life and in support of the future guide dog that my dad is now waiting for.
