Will you help me help others? Every penny counts!
Southeastern Guide Dogs breeds, raises, and trains some of the finest guide dogs, service dogs, and skilled companion dogs in the world. The puppies are adorable, but to witness these amazing dogs in training is nothing short of miraculous. Thanks to the intelligence and fine training of these dogs, people with vision loss, veterans with disabilities, and children with significant challenges find the freedom, confidence, and independence they need.
As most of you know, I've been helping raise funds for Southeastern Guide Dogs for the last seven years. I also help coordinate the Tampa WalkAThon. During this time, I have had the pleasure and privilege of seeing the work this organization does and how it helps change lives. They do all of this with no government funding but rely on private donations. All donations - regardless of size - will help change someone's life.
This year I hope to raise another $5,000 so I can name a puppy in memory of a former colleague, Mike "Goodie" Goodwin, who lost his battle with cancer this year.
