For those who cannot see and for those who have seen too much. Changing lives, one dog at a time.
Southeastern Guide Dogs has a simple purpose – to breed, raise, and train elite working dogs and to provide these premier dogs and lifetime services at no cost to clients who need them. These dogs provide freedom, confidence, and hope for people with vision loss, veterans with disabilities, and children with significant challenges.
Being puppy raisers is so rewarding! It is truly remarkable to watch these pups grow and learn over 12 short months. We first opened our hearts & home to Finnegan, and we are so proud of our “little” Finn! Now a Guide Dog in Georgia, Finnegan provides the safety and freedom for Terri to get out, go places, and do things! Our spunky second pup Shepster was destined for a career outside of Southeastern Guide Dogs; and due to the pandemic this spring and closing of the school campus, Shepster was released from responsibilities of formal training. Thanks to this he was able to pursue his dream of being a Professional Pet, and he has had quite the adventure over the last year moving to Largo, spending time on the family cattle ranch, and summer vacationing in the hills of North Carolina.
Southeastern Guide Dogs relies 100% on private donations and receives no government funding. We have set an ambitious Walkathon fundraising goal, and your help means a lot to us and to the people whose lives are changed forever because of these incredible dogs. Please consider supporting us and the Southeastern Guide Dogs mission to raise and train these puppies and create extraordinary dogs, and please forward this link to anyone else willing to assist us.
Thank you in advance for your donation and support!!!
