Puppies with a Purpose!
Southeastern Guide Dogs gives the gift of freedom and hope to people with vision loss, veterans with disabilities, and children with significant challenges. They breed, raise, and train the finest guide dogs, service dogs, and skilled companion dogs in the world! The puppies are adorable, but to witness these amazing dogs at work is extraordinary.
Southeastern Guide Dogs relies on donations and doesn't charge for their dogs or services. That’s why I’m supporting their biggest fundraiser of the year—Walkathon! I've set an ambitious fundraising goal, and I need your help. Please join me as we transform lives by supporting Southeastern Guide Dogs.
I have raised 4 Southeastern Guide Dogs so far:
- Quirt (Guide)
- Buddy (Career Changed, Therapy Dog)
- Clarke (Guide)
- Apgar (Medically Released, Therapy Dog)
I am currently raising Puppy #5, Morris, and I am excited to attend my first in-person Walkathon this year after COVID in Gainesville on April 1! This year, my goal is to raise $4,000 to sponsor the name of another puppy and I've got my name picked out: Lulu.
As many of you know, Lulu was my yellow Lab who first inspired my love of the breed, helped me finish college, moved with me to Colorado, and was my first Therapy Dog with Alliance of Therapy Dogs. Lulu was with me for 5 years before she passed from cancer right after her 10th birthday and I am hoping that this year, as I raise my 5th puppy, I can sponsor a pup named Lulu to bring light and love into her person's life like my own Lulu brought into mine. I hope you will partner with me as I try to reach my goal!
Give today—it’s for the dogs!
