Kartie's Squad Page
Kartie and I invite you to join our team, Kartie's Squad, make a donation or simply read on to learn more about an amazing organization, Southeastern Guide Dogs (SEGD).
As you may know, I am DeafBlind woman who lives an independent life, in part because of my current successor guide dog, Kartie that I received through Southeastern Guide Dogs. My first guide, Janie who is now retired and is still enjoying her retirement. Until that time comes for me, I enjoy traveling, shopping and exercising which includes walking and swimming. Last year, Kartie and I logged 848.5 miles walking. We are a great team!
SEGD has allowed me to live this independent life at no cost because of the support received from donors like you.
Please consider making a donation to my Walkathon page. Kartie and I will be walking in Orlando on April 11th and would love to have you join us.
When I learned that Southeastern Guide Dogs relies 100% on private donations, receives no government funding, and doesn't charge for their dogs or services, I decided to participate in their biggest fundraiser of the year, the Walkathon. I've set an ambitious Walkathon fundraising goal and am excited to contribute to the life changing mission of Southeastern Guide Dogs.
