Lets raise a paw for Southeastern Guide Dogs!

If you know me, you know by now that Southeastern Guide Dogs breeds, raises, and trains some of the finest guide dogs, service dogs, and skilled companion dogs in the world.
As a puppy raiser, I have been fortunate enough to raise Jacket who was medically retired as a Guide Dog and is now living the pet life in Miami, Florida. My second pup, Donna Rae got to college and said, I'm allergic to this place, and so lucky for her (and me) she found a famiy home in St. Petersburg, FL. I picked up puppy #3, named Maddie in November of 2020. She was named from the 2020 walkathon after my great aunt, Madeline McCabe.
The puppies are adorable, but to witness these amazing dogs in training is nothing short of miraculous. Thanks to the intelligence and fine training of these dogs, people with vision loss, veterans with disabilities, and children with significant challenges find the freedom, confidence, and independence they need.
You also know that Southeastern Guide Dogs relies 100% on private donations, receives no government funding, and doesn't charge for their dogs or services. So for the third year in a row, I've decided to participate in their biggest fundraiser of the year, the Walkathon. I've set an ambitious Walkathon fundraising goal and am excited to contribute to the life changing mission of Southeastern Guide Dogs.
